Can't connect to wireless on samsung notebook, but can connect on iphone?
I have a Samsung notebook that i have been able to connect to my wireless router for months. I can't connect to my internet at all but can connect on iphone and playstation 3. I also have the error code 10044 on avast... i have tried to use command prompt 'ipconfig/release' and 'ipconfig/renew' but it says no operation can be performed on wireless connection or local area connection while it has its media disconnected?
can anyone help at all???

It looks like something (a firewall) is blocking your access to the internet and your avast pops up with the error unable to connect.
Restart your PC and disable your Windows Firewall. To do so, follow these Microsoft-provided instructions: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/w...wall-on-or-off
