Windows live Essentials 2012

Windows Live Essentials 2012 16.4 is a Windows 7 & Windows 8
download only it will not work with Vista or any system earlier

Please Advise all members of Majors Geeks not to waste there time trying to Downlaod it if they have Vista Or Earlier onthere PC's

Your post is partially inaccurate. The updates for Photo Gallery and Movie Maker will not allow them to run on a Vista operating system, the other items install and run fine on Vista as I'm on a Vista machine as I type this.

I have tried all day to down load this program and its says must install Windows 7 or 8 if you know atrick on how to get Vista to work with it Please advise

The latest version of Windows Essentials won't run on Windows Vista or Windows XP.
If you're running Windows Vista, you'll need to install Windows Live Essentials 2011.

Don't know what to tell you; I downloaded the offline installer and everything updated to 2012 except, as I noted, Movie Maker and Photo Gallery. I did not get a "failed to install" report. And yes, it's really on a Vista computer.
