Default Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010

Hello, I hope you can help me out.

I have purchased 'Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010' but my operating system is 64 bit windows XP, in order for this software to install, I require the 32 bit version of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 .

Where can I find the download for this 32 bit version of the software.

I have a valid product key.

Evening waz36,
You should be able to run a 32 bit program off a 64 bit OS, I have multiple 32 bit programs running from my 64 bit OS. You just install it like you would normally and it will install under the folder "program files(x86)"

I am now getting message "microsoft office professional plus 2010 encountered an error during setup" ?

it locks up every time at about the same spot, about 2/3 through the install.

any help on this would be grateful.

Where did you purchase the copy from? Office 2k10 Pro Plus is only for Volume licensing, and used in the business world, not in home use. See the following http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/o...e-35657b74960d A lot more threads on this subject http://us.yhs4.search.yahoo.com/yhs/...go_portal_home

I don't understand why you want to install 32-bit Office on 64-bit Windows. You should install the 64-bit version, although the 32-bit version will run as well.

pwillener, look it up. Discussed quite a bit why the 64bit version of Office never quite took off back when 2010 was released. That is why you see more copies of 32bit 2k10 out there, than 64bit on computers.

I purchased office 2010 pro plus through my employer, so it can be used for personal home use. I have now found out that I am actually running 32 bit version of windows XP, not 64 like I earlier thought.

when I install the software, it accepts the product key and starts to install the programme but when it gets to 2/3rd install it freezes then brings up a message, that its encountered an error during set up ??

Do or did you ever have an earlier version of office installed? Some times Office 2010 will fail if there is still some remnants of older office that didnt get removed. i know ive had more problems with office 2010 not being able to remove office 2003.
