Default 'Torn TV' and 'Delta Search'

Hi,

I've somehow managed to download some malware onto my PC, slowing things down and throwing up adverts everywhere. The two 'obvious' ones I can see are TornTV and Deltasearch, which briefly took over my browser before I realised, though of course there may be plenty of others.

Help in getting rid of these would be appreciated.

TDSS Killer and Hitman Pro apparently didn't find any threats.

Please attach the TDSSKiller log so I can check your MBR.

Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
  • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
  • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, right-mouse click it and select Run as Administrator.
  • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
  • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
  • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
  • Attach JRT.txt to your next message.

Hmm, things are possibly better than they were - I'm no longer getting adverts appearing on the BBC website for instance - but i am still getting pop up adverts where I shouldn't. I still have deltasearch in my Browser menu, and Torn TV on my desktop. PC Tools antivirus Free finds and can eliminate 3 threats and 8 infections on my computer when I ran it just there, and it gives me a 'threat rating HIGH' report card.

Attach the log from running PC tools. Can you not delete the one from your browser menu and the other from your desktop?
