    Hi Rmbler
I dont remember your previous problems so I'm not 100% sure of your exact problem,if you have time might i suggest you visit the Tips,Tricks and How To Forum here at Majorgeeks this will provide you with some advice on how to read and understand Hijack This log files
    http://www.majorgeeks.com/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=33

Aside from that is there a particular problem you feel you have with spyware

I would recommend dumping the Panicware pop-up stopper this is widely regarded as Spyware itself, there are many better ones available i personally use the Google Toolbar which includes a pop-up blocker amongst other things
    http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4098
Thats the link if you are interested :)

As for Norton if theres a reference in Add-remove programs use this first, then use the Windows Search for anything Norton related and delete everything found, after you have done this and removed the old pop-up software i suggest running a good reg cleaner i personally recommend
    http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4001.html
this is a 30 day trial but once you've tried it you wont want to lose it,and its reasonably priced at about 12 dollars
Run the scan, now dont be frightened if it finds a very large amount of invalid entries,Ive run this on many machines and usually on first run i have to remove hundreds and hundreds of items, the program will make a back-up of everything so you can restore if you find another program stops working
But i personally have never had to restore one yet,but obviously you delete everything at your own risk ;)

    Removing Norton

can be a real chore. I run WinME and I had System Works installed. It was an absolute beast to remove. Go to the Symantec site and they provide specific and clear info on removing their products. Personally, I will never use Norton agin as it is very invasive (IMHO).

    Hi Phil
If you can give us some more details on those registry entries we may be able to help you out

As for Panicware do a search on your hard drive for anything Panicware related and delete anything found
Also re run Hijack This and see if you still have these entries

If these are still there close all browser windows check the boxes next to the selected items then fix, reboot and double check theyve gone
