    Hi,
The last week sure has sucked for me! I've ran many anti-virus checks, in between taking care of a phsical virus my 8 yr old boy has...... but still find my computer being odd. Another thing that is weird, sometimes, when I look up terms I've found in my apps I'm curious about, I only get results in foriegn languages!
I have a log here that I would so welcome and appreciate any comments or suggestions on.
I've also ran BigFix, SmartFix and Bootvis.
    Thanks in advance, again.
    cheers, Mattie

First off I hope your little boy is fighting off the virus.... eeek I had a weird one just after christmas that layed me out for days.....

BUT reading your post.... define odd a bit? if your thinking spyware then those things you ran wont help with removing those.... bootvis is not an app to really run, great for diagnostics of slow loading drivers etc etc

I see you have Ad-Aware, did you run it and did it find anything?

also your HJT log, looks clean apart from one thing that says its a spyware removal tool but is in effect itself spyware as in AD based plus as one of the sites I will link you too says that users when wanting to get rid of it have to pay!!!!

    http://www.pestpatrol.com/PestInfo/v/virtual_bouncer.asp
    http://www.spywareguide.com/product_show.php?id=514

the only other thing is Plaxo... it's not all it makes out to be for one it looks like in a report I read the other month, falling foul of our EU privacy laws! plus we had a thread about it awhile ago http://www.majorgeeks.com/vb/showthread.php?t=27536&highlight=plaxo

thats not to say you need to remove it but just be aware!

I would think these two should be removed:

    O4 - Startup: Virtual Bouncer.lnk.disabled
And I question the line below. Is this from Kazaa?
