avserve? hognubn? see hijack this log

Strange things going on here.I thinkl my homepage has been hijacked. I ran ad-aware and got rid of many files but some reappear when I connect to internet. A couple of the processes are - 'avserve' and hognubn'. Couldn't find any info on them. Ad-aware got rid of them the first time but avserve has reappeared (also avserve2 is running). In the task mgr. there's a process that shows-up with different names (28988_up, 19557_up) always running at about 25-35MBs. When I end the process, IE runs ok.
Computer: WinXP. RAM:128MB. P4 processor. Verizon DSL. IE 6.0
