Router and ps2 problems

Hey every1 im new here and am happy to join the family.:D Ok i just bought a linksys 8 port router (model:Befsr81).I tried hooking my ps2 up to the router but my ps2 doesnt seem to connect when i try 2 play socom2 online.My computer connects to the web thru the router without a problem but my ps2 doesnt connect anybody know what i can do?
Ive been trying to get this thing to work for 2days but still nothing im frustrated!:

have you checked to see if you need to enable any ports
through your router for the ps2 to play?

SOCOM 1, SOCOM II (2), Twisted Metal Black Online, NFL Gameday:
Tell the router to allow TCP Ports: 10070 – 10080 and UDP Ports 6000-6999 to send data and recieve data.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 and Tony Hawk's Underground:
UDP port 5150.

Frequency and Amplitude:
TCP Ports 10070 – 10080 and UDP Ports 10070 and you need to allow incoming ICMP Echo Reply.

Madden NFL 2003 and 2004:
UDP ports 1791, 1792, 9995 and 9996.

Medal of Honor: Rising Sun:
TCP 13505, TCP 443, UDP 3658/3659, UDP 6000/6001 (for voice chat).

Also, if using a router or a firewall, you MAY want to foreward port 28500 to address 10.14.248.177

Final Fantasy XI:
TCP 25, 80, 110, 443, and 50000 - 65535
UDP 50000 - 65535
TCP 1024 - 65535
