I had the pleasure of firing quite a few weapons. I never did shoot something like the one pictured above. That must be real fun.

You wouldn't want to take me on (now, where are my glasses..).
Haven't done much shooting for a while, most recent was with son's pellet gun shooting at a bunch of balloons tied to a post! Got them all, but it wasn't fair, coz the ballons can't run fast!! :

Now, paintballing is fun too.
and it's "eagle eye" "p

What I really miss is skeet shooting...when the clay pigeons are always in season.... I'm no pro at it but can hold my own...I even used a single shot 12 with a ported barrel...<pats self on shoulder>

I've got a .50 cal Thompson Greyhawk. Lot's of fun to shoot and accurate as hell once you get used to "click" *pause* "bang". :

Remington Army 1858- That's the one I've been trying to get my wife to let me get. I want a pistol, but not one that isn't easy for kid's to load. That is if they can get it out of my gun safe. And if I ever need it in self defense (I'd have to use my WWI bayonet or chucks or any number of things that would make a good weapon, because it would take too much time to slip in a cylinder), if I can't get the job done with 6 shots, might as well give it up anyway.

Actually no, the 50's have a very smooth back kick, well actually its more of a real good nudge. We only used 80 grain of powder, because frankly speaking, to use more more in there the excess would only blow out the end of the barrel, some of it more than likley would not ignite, and one risks blowing the barrel right off the stock.

I put a pretty good hole in the coffee can we was shooting at from 75 paces ( about one hundred yards). I pulled off seven rounds with this particular rifle, and there was no discomfort the next day.

Try shootin' one of those over here and they'd lock me up and throw away the key. They're a little paranoid about guns in England.

Check out the hood of the Jeep behind me, there's a Remington .12 gauge, and a remington .22. My brother brought his 9mm Ruger semi-auto just to spice things up a little.

Ah, heck just think of it as more of an exotic pea-shooter, I'm sure the Bobbies would understand that? and if they don't prey on their egos, and let them have a lash, Yes? :

Mmmm....thought not
