Default Athlon XP 2500 only clocking at 1.1Ghz

It is listed at 1.833Ghz and programs like 3dMark are listing it at 1.11Ghz. Can anyone offer any support?

Go into your Bios and see what your FSB is set at. Then find out what it's suppose to be set at, or vise-versa
Don't change anything on my word but I had the same thing on a AMD 3200 chip and I had to bump up the FSB to get it where it was suppose to be.

Some MOBO Default cpu frequency = 100mhz
Check Bios Advance Chipset features Your CPU External Frequency should be at 166 and your CPU Frequency Multiple should be 11.0, Then you should be running at 1833mhz.

While your in bios Make sure all setting's will suit your need's best, Look Here at Bios Guide:

Top middle of page click on Bios Optimazation Guide/ BOG ver 8.0 is FREE!
