The 60 or 70 extra megs of memory used and multiple extra processes running are not what resource snobs are going to want to see, but ATI provided us a FAQ that addresses multiple questions about resources.

have you used it? im not sure about this ... the 3D control panel looks awesome unless it really is as slow as they say it is ... and from the article it doesn't sound like it's compatible with my graphics card ... im curious is this catalyst 5 or what? i have 4.7

Havnt used it my self. The extra memory it sucks up is scaring me away.

It should work with 9800Pros. We should have no problem running it.

Right now though my graphics are great, why mess up a good thing?
