Ok, running the console client as a service, dont work, but thats ok, I start it manually. I am concerned I am not getting the credits for the team... so:
1: If I close it at any point, does it resume, or does it need to get through 100 steps? 2: Did I lose the data as seen on the attached image in this thread? 3: Maybe the graphical is better? I prefer to have it go to tray which the console version does not? Thanks in advance! |

Guess most does not matter, went to graphical, it minimizes nicely, hope what I did was uploaded, got 1.5 days into it before this crash. So, my questions are now for curiousity.

Yes, you need to make sure the service isnt running and is disabled before you can use another client to fold. Running two clients in the same folder = bad... quite possibly why you got the decompression error.
Graphical is much much easier to configure, no messing about with client.cfg to get it do what you want it to. And the error messages tend to be better than "FILE_IO_ERROR" :D I'm working on a better way to run the client as a service, because it does run quicker when its configured properly.
