SyncroAd.exe???

Anybody know what this thing is? its new and in my running processes. I've tried to end it but it won't die. I've also found something called Winsync.exe too.. they're not anything I've seen before and just wondered if any of you might know what they are or why they've suddenly shown up.

well thanks ma for looking into it.. i did the whole schpeel you included in your reply to no avail. its still here. I've been looking around and i don't find much on it either. I just know i don't want it in my system and i'll figure out how to kill it yet!

hey ppl,

Ran across the same anoying thing, SyncroAd and Winsync, both running.
No matter what i do, they won't go away an leave me alone .

So if there is a solution, pls let me know. I have all the software recommended, but they can't seem to even spot the file, only hijackthis does.

The last place i would to remove the thing should be the first : add/remove software in windows xp itself

The ppl that installed the prog on my comp where nice enough to leave a message behind on how to remove, go figure...
