From what I can tell it will accept anything up to a 2000XP (Non-Thoroughbred CPUs only).

Thanks for the info. PCCHIPS Lottery also seems to agree - the board rev is 7.0 so only quoted to support to the old 1600/1700 series chips. If I can get hold of a 2000+ cheap I'll try it, otherwise I'll save up for a new 64 board & chip..

I concurr, I had that same board with a 2000+ in it, maxed out.
