Default rebooting back to normal mode

After booting to safe mode for virus and spyware scanning, and after running the scans etc...please advise as to the correct procedure to get back to the normal mode...I know its fairly simple, I just want to be sure on the method. Thanks.

It should boot right back up by itself into normal mode
And if a screen comes up to give you a choice, just choose normal mode (not quite sure what the wording would be, but you will know if you see it)

If you used the msconfig method to boot to safe mode, it will not automatically reboot in normal mode. You would need to make the change using msconfig to the boot.ini area for normal boot by unchecking the /SAFEBOOT option.

I can get to safe mode with the F8 key, but still want to be clear on returning to safe mode once my scans are over...please advise. Thanks again.

You mean returning to normal boot mode... right? Just don't hit F8 and you will boot normal.
