System froze in normal mode can't open safe...

System froze booting normal mode can't open safe mode
get below over and over again


Default= multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\windows[operating systems

Nothing with F8 works

Was told to wait 10 minute and will get into safe mode but has not happen.

Any help would be great

what were you doing on your computer before the problem?

Humm installed antivirus AVG found a few trogens then install a mp3 to wav converter.. during reboot f8 sceen came up.. think he did normal mode first and frooze up so tried safe mode next but just get what I think is the boot.ini scrolling by Same thing happens for other F8 funtions

And I had him restart after trogens removed cause there was a few
and computer seemed fine then

I don't think he did anything ( I like to let person do the tasks so they can learn a bit)

Have any idea's
Because I'm stumped
Notice antiivirus boot scan was disabled but it seems to be a default setting

will looks like reformt is the answer... Got system a litte farther .
get to user window but no user to click. And thats were it stays .
Safe mode seems to go in right direction then same hit same window.
