I have purchased an internal USB 2.0 PCI Adapter Card and have installed it into my old computer. It is Win98SE 200 MMX Pentium w/256M PC100 RAM.
I have enabled USB in Rom Bios and have everything installed except I came up with 1 question mark in the System Area of Control Panel.
Under other devices, I have PCI Universal Serial Bus.
Under Universal Serial Bus Controllers, I have all the entries that the manual says I'm to have, but the manual doesn't say anything about the 1 item in other devices. I have been to the manufacturers website, and there is nothing there to help me.
    Any suggestions??

USB 2.0 is NOT natively supported in Win98 so you need to install the drivers that came with the card. I didn't see you mention this in your post.

i had the same problem once, what i did was
    1. deleted it in control panel (i mean in your device menager)
    2. After i rebooted the hardware wizard 'found' new hardware i ok'd it to install and problem solved. You can try that, nothing to lose

Sorry, I did install the drivers that it asked for, 99% of which came from the Win98SE disk.
