IE and FireFox won't load pages, but AOL works fine!

My Wal-Mart Connect (part of AOL, pretty much same dial-up program) can connect to the internet and I can browse the net through it. But when I try to surf the web with Internet Explorer or FireFox, it just doesn't load anything, like it times out. Also, I can't ping anything, says the request times out.

I'm running Win2k, IE Version 5.50.4522.1800IS, FireFox Version 0.9.3
