This is supposed to be a help forum?!

I've posted a couple things in the last week or so and have recieved ABSOLUTELY no interest. This is SUPPOSED to be one of the top tech sites. I write a column for a tech mag.... Not gonna endorse this site. I won't be back.

 

As you might have noticed, there are hundreds of new posts every day. Try to bump your post, and eventually someone will see it.

whenever i post a message a reply is posted about an hour or less later, i think thats crazy fast!!

Just i side note: What mag. do you do? (Name of the Mag)

To get people to look at your posts put someting intresting on the subject line..(NOT: I have a problem) (Instead: I am having trouble with Texture Loading problem with my 3D Card)

 

I've had nothing but quality help when posting here. Do you really work for a tech magazine? Seems you would have "connections" there to help you. I'm not discouraging you from posting here, just saying this site helps MANY people. Come back, maybe you can help others since you work for a tech magazine.

 

Thats funny only one of your posts doesn't have a reply and its about your video to a tv.

 

I'm a newbie here myself but here is how I see it. If you want instant answers get out your credit card. There are plenty of pay per incidence sites out here on the WWW. Just my 2 ¢

This site has always been great to me. I was using it back when it was 3DFiles .. and even though I don't frequent here near as much as I did back then it's still where I go when I need help/advice/software for my PC. Keep up the good work Tim.

Hey, I've always gotten helpful responses to my questions/posts here and usually within a few hours. So this site IS one of the great tech sites according to my experience!

First of all, MA hit the nail on the head. If nobody has experience with it, then you likely wont see a lot of activity.

Secondly, someone not being able to boot, or having showstopping problems falls much higher on my priority list.

Lastly, as someone already mentioned, if you want help immediatly, go pay for it. I've not made one penny helping people here and neither has anyone else. However, I can tell you right now that we've saved people a cubic buttload of money.

Now apply that to your current job (which is still in question).

I've got a real life. I have a real family. I have real BILLS. They come first.

I have no complaints about this site,I think it's the best in town. There's 100's of posts daily here,the way I see it there all looked at,well not yours for some reason

Problem

yes i do virus scan and defrag on a normal basis, i need help on setting up my bios on my mobo epox 8rda3+ when i go to preformance defaults it never starts up and when i go fail safe it's slow as hell.

 

I just posted my first question here and got a response within minutes. Not too shabby.

 

don't be such a baby, no one gets paid to do this, grow up.
another thing if you write a column in a technical mag you must be able to do
research, or do you go to forums for all your information?
I think your a full of it, or you should get a new job.
