System Crash during Drive Scans - Please Help!

Whenever I use McAfee VirusScan or Spybot Search & Destroy, my system crashes before the scan completes. It never crashes during any other time. I'm now being flooded with spyware because I can't run Search & Destroy and I can't scan for viruses because it shuts down before it's done. Any suggestions as to what's causing this? It would also shut down when I used SureDelete (disk cleaner), so I replaced SureDelete with a program called Eraser, and it does the same thing with this program as well.

Also, I have a file in my favorites called "MyRealPics" that I cannot get rid of for the life of me. It says it's a 0 kb file and that's it, it's just an icon and doesn't do anything when I click on it.

Are you getting any errors when ya crash?

Try Online scan:

Try scanning in safe mode?

Have you tryed to uninstall & reinstall McAfee & spybot?

In Safe Mode, you can probably delete that file " MyRealPicks"
