need laptop help plz

    hi guys,
    i use my laptop for my disco and use a usb sound card-creative sound blaster.
    but everytime i plug in the mains power lead into it i get bad interferance through the disco speakers.
    i have tried putting the power supply into a different plug,still the same.
    ive even tried wrapping the power pack in foil for a while just to see if it makes a difference,still no good
    does anyone know how i can eliminate the interferance plz
