I have windows 98 - I try to run the perform full system scan on the free ad-ware se that i update every session and at any given random file, it reads busy and will not continue finishing the scan - when i do the smart scan it does finish but list no new critical objects, on the full scan when it stops scanning it always has 10 new critical objects that i can't delete as it will not finish scanning - I have allowed the system to scan in this busy mode for over 24 hours it never changes - Can someone help?
I am wondering if when I loaded the upgrade to the kazaa if the p2p networking files are interfering with the adware se - I don't know if i got rid of all the p2p files - thnx |

Kazaa is a bad bad thing anyway, well known for adware
in you add remove programs remove anything Kazaa related and run adaware in safe mode if it still freezes find out where it freezes |

During the set up of the upgrade to the kazaa my avg came up that it was a virus so i never did finish the upgrade and never used kazaa after that point but i'm still not sure if what i did load has been deleted - there are instructions on the c/net site that gives the files that should be deleted but most of them I couldn't find to delete -Kazaa and that p2p networking files that came with the upgrade have both been uninstalled when this happened - Also, how do i go in the safe mode and run the ad-ware se and figure out where the problem happens when it does this at any random file number - the only thing the same is it will read 10 new critical objects found - thnx
