Javascript Problem In IE 6.0

    I have been having problems with some jpg links on various websites. All of the links are Java run. These links are named Javascript:view('/images/database/picture.JPG'). These links won't appear at all, and in addition, clicking on the links disables the "GO" and the Address Bar in the browser (I am unable to go to a website by typing the name). I always have to close and open a new browser window.
    I have checked and re-checked the JAVA, ACTIVE X, and COOKIES configuration of the browser and all items are active. I am running XP and the latest IE.
