Alright, my cousin has an old Pentium MMX made in '97 (it's an NEC computer). It runs at 200 mhz: that's not the bad thing. The bad thing is that it only has 32 mb of EDO DRAM! I'm wondering: will SDRAM work with this motherboard? (I can't give any good specs, just that it was made in march/1997). Also, how do I remove the ram sticks that are already in there? They're attached to the motherboard with z-shaped metal prongs, not the plastic tabs I'm used to.

aLLiKZar It's not too late to back out!

It depends on the motherboard. Some can use different memory sticks, but I highly doubt that motherboard will be able to use SDRAM memory sticks. Don't know about the Z clips.
