hi all..couple questions

    can i disable parallel and serial ports to free up resources and stuff? i dont have a printer and im gonna try to get cable sevice..do i need serial port for internet connection? is it ok to disable usb? would that free up resources?

    Yes to disabling parallel and serial ports if you're going use strictly USB. If not and you disable USB you may have a few input problems.

    These are not the typical resource hogs on a system, post your specs and I'm sure a tweak or two will materialise:)
