Internet connection down
I have a Dell notebook CPXJ86 with windows 2000 My 3com3c920 integrated Fast Ethernet controller, Direct Parallel, Infrared Modem Port, Infrared Port, Wan Miniport(IP), Wan Miniport(L2TP), Wan Miniport(PPTP) all of these read "device is not working properly because windows can not load the drivers required for this device(code 31) I installed a Xircom card bus in my notebook and got the same reading I update all the drives can some PLEASE help me

what kind of internet connection are you using? (cable, DSL, Wireless...etc)
also, when did this happen? all I can locate for download for a Dell Lattitude CPx J series for network drivers are located in here with the rest of the drivers http://support.dell.com/support/down...os=WNT5&osl=EN though those dont seem to match your description (though they might)

have you checked for spyware? the spyware section of this forum has a few good tuts on how to remove spyware
