Desktop Background trouble

I'm trying to use this wallpaper:

at 1024x768
I can set as my backgrond, I have it listed in display properties/Desktop, in the background list.

When I restart my pc it reverts back to what ever else it is set too before the MG wallpaper?
When to pc is powered up or restarted after setting the MG wallpaper the MG wallpaper appears for a couple seconds then changes back to the previous set windows wallpaper/background.
Windows XP pro & SP2

There must be a simple fix for this?

Well I figured it out somewhat.

Just had to make it the default desktop in Nvida desktop manager, I have multiple desktop's, seem's to want to use only what is listed as default or named default.

Might be a flaw in Nvida desktop manager or conflict with Display Properties?
I'll have to play with it some more, but at least I can set what background I want.
