Default How to remove Zinio Reader

I am tring to remove a program from my sister's computer called Zinio Reader and every time I try to remove the program, I get this error:

>SetupDLL\SetuDLL.cpp (462)
PAPP: Zinio Reader
PVENDOR: Zinio System, Inc. (http://www.Zinio.com)
PGUID:D917F618-DDB8-4653-95FF-14A9A4E3B
$9.1.0.429
@Windows XP Service Pack 2 (2600) bt_other 0.64

Then when I press ok, I get this error:

InstallShield Wizard
Setup has experienced an error
Please do the following;
-Close any running programs
-Empty your temporary folder
-Check your Internet connection (Internet-based Setups)
Then try to run the Setup again
Error code: -5001

Now I have done everything that is stated in the "READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal" thread and this error is still popping up.

I started fixing my sisters computer because she was having two errors. The first one is this Zino program, every time she turns on the computer it tells her that she some program needs to send an error report (Zinio Reader) and the other problem is that every time she logs onto her bank web site it says that she has encountered an error and then closes down the program.

Thanks for any help

This sounds more like a Software issue but just to confirm your computer is clean.

Download HijackThis 1.99.1

Unzip the hijackthis.exe file to a folder you create named C:\Program Files\HJT

Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the ZIP file as your backups will not be safely stored.

Before running HijackThis: You must close each of the following:your web browser, e-mail client, instant messenger, and programs like notepad, wordpad, MS Word etc. And any other unnecessary running programs.

Run HijackThis and save your log file.

Post your log as an ATTACHMENT to your next post. (Do NOT copy/paste the log into your post as it will be removed).

Are you familiar with TrueAssistant?

First:
Download LSP-Fix

After download is complete, Run LSP-Fix

Check the Box labeled "I know what I'm doing" and then click on the ypclsp.dll file (in the Keep section) to select it.

Then, Select the >> button to move ypclsp.dll into the Remove section.

Now, click the Finish Button. When the Repair Summary box appears, click OK.

(Note: If the file ypclsp.dll is already in the remove section, then just click FINISH.)

Second:
Now scan with HijackThis and Check the Boxes for the following:

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://hsremove.com/done.htm

O16 - DPF: {4C226336-4032-489F-9674-67E74225979B} - http://www.otxresearch.com/OTXMedia/OTXMedia.dll
O16 - DPF: {FFFFFFFF-CACE-BABE-BABE-00AA0055595A} - http://www.trueswitch.com/sbc/TrueInstallSBC.exe

NEXT:
Run CCleaner

Reboot, Scan with HijackThis and attach the new log.

Scan with HJT and have it fix the below entry:

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://hsremove.com/done.htm

Your log is clean!

Are you having any further problems?
