pci sound card

    I have a cmedia pci sound card, and I have just updated the drivers from the web site of cmedia but I want to know if there is any better drivers because they dont seem to be that new and also what is the best software to use (audio controller) to use with a pci sound card, can you use any software or does it have to be spacific. The sound card is a cmedia 8738-6ch LX.

    Your best bet for drivers is the manufacturers site, and I'd be surprised to find 3rd party drivers that are better. If you mean music playback, any program compatible with your OS should work.
