Ok something extrememly wierd happened with my computer. Im running win2k, and i have 2 hard drives, windows on first hdd and the other for music and games.
So last night i set my 2nd hard drive to defragment(using windows defragger) and left. When i came back 4 hrs later my defrag box was up but it didnt have the box that says defrag complete. So without thinking i restarted, and when windows loaded, i discovered that my 2nd hdd was somehow formatted. No partition left whatsoever. This is the wierdest thing i've ever seen...does anyone know how in the world this could've happened? thanks

I don not believe that you loose all data by that way.
Are you sure that HDD have been formatted or not?
I usually do system backup and restore at the previous time.
but I not sure it will help you to recover all things.
