The reason i ask is because this directory seems to be a regular location for spyware infections. Adaware is able to detect the files, but is unable to delete them. i manually delete the infected files through booting into Dos.

The directory contains Thousands of files, and they are pretected in windows.

I Was wondering what the files were for, and if they can be safely removed since the thousands of files take up considerable HD space.

Also if they are temporary, why are they protected?

    Thanks.

    Martin.
