custom theme problems

I tried installing the Luna Element 3 theme from http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/18552868/ . However, there's a problem: the theme that shows up after it's applied is basically the windows classic theme, and the wallpaper disappears. This also happened when I tried installing another theme, called Forever Blue. What could the problem be here? Using XP sp2 (and if anyone knows where a mandrakelinux theme is for windows, please lemme know).

Another problem is that the delete button in the theme manager is not enabled whenever I click on one of the custom themes, but I'm not too worried about that right now.

 

Have you installed a patch so that these themes work properly?

I find this patch works well with themes, and the themes on that site are really good too.
