zone alarm 5.5 upgrade problems

after upgrading to current 5.5 i could not un install nor install ZA

also could never receiv/send outlook express with zonealarm on
had to turn off ZA to receiv my emails

also many comments on zonelabs forum,
http://forum.zonelabs.org/zonelabs, but no solutions
tried the uninstall suggestions, but no can do...........still puzzled

recently switched to sygate
nada/none/no problems with anything
receiving all emails now

 

Not had any trouble with ZA, except VSMON.EXE problem that was not ZA fault. I'm using

"ZoneAlarm version:5.5.094.000
TrueVector version:5.5.094.000
Driver version:5.5.094.000"

Stick with Sygate if you are happy with that. We do not need the extra aggravations that our PC's cause us. Bazza
