   I've a Dell system with Windows XP SP2. Its new. The problem is that I'm not able to resume from the Standby. Each time it goes to standby, I'll have to restart the system, which I hate doing.

   Do you need it to enter Standby? ( personally I hate the option on desktops as it has a habbit of taking ages to resume )
   
   If not then enter Control Panel > Power Options and set Standby to Never.
