    Hi,

I use windows xp pro. During installation I typed my admin password although I set the reboot to the welcome screen.

Last Sunday, when I fired up my machine it prompted me for my password which I typed in but was not recognized. I rebooted in safe mode and I noticed 2 accounts. One with my name and the other the admin. It still prompted me for a password which (again) was not recognized. There was no way for me to enter my settings. I just had to reinstall windows.

Could it be a hijack? I'm still a bit confused on what the term REALLY means.

Has anyone else ever expereinced this before?

If you have an advise or suggestion it would be greatly appreciated.
