Love fireworks

In reference to GOTTHEIT's thread (The combination of twilight, the river reflecting the wonderous fireworks displays, and the reverie I was in, led to an emotional high I hadn't experienced in a long time.)
My Best friend and I used to LOVE fireworks it was almost a religous thing, and then he passed away 2 1/2 years ago and I havent been since. Maybe next year.

Thats the best way to remember people: bring back the good memories and be thankful that you had the chance to make them.

On another note: fireworks are starting to annoy me, if only due to the fact I've been working with firework images for the last 4 months for a client who wants everything from fireworks business cards to fireworks websites.

It's normal to avoid things that we shared with someone we've lost, as the grieving process makes the memories painful. As time distances us from that pain, we eventually can enjoy both the activity and the memories again. Next year, enjoy the fireworks, and the memories they bring. Sounds like it's time.
