Under Memory modules, Belarc is showing Slot 0 has 1MB and Slot 1 has 128MB, but I'm supposed to have 384MB of memory. Does anyone know why this would be? If I wanted to take out and reinstall my memory to see what's happening, is there a particular way to do that, or can you just take out the memory 'stick' and put it back in?

Is memory visable in windows, system info?
    Is memory visable in BIOS?

You stick in slot 0 may just not be seated properly R & R it.
Just make sure the PC is off when removing any hardware/memory anything.
You can remove the stick in question, you can even swap slots see if that makes any differance.
Also make sure your grounded, dont want any static shock, it can fry hardware.

You can also run Everest & see if it reports the same:

    Asus,

My Computer>System Properties shows 384MB RAM. I don't know if memory is visible in BIOS because I don't where to see that (how do I get in and out of BIOS?). Everest/physical memory says 383MB total, 234used and 149free.

    Belarc might just be flawed?
    System Info say's 384mb that's good.
Bios entry? what brand PC or MOBO is this, not all are the same.
When you boot it may be displayed on screen, it's probably going to be the delete key or F1 or F2, Tap Key as soon as you power up, it also should be noted in MOBO/PC manual.

Everest, Open, on the left, Expand Computer, then click on DMI, then click on/expand Memory modules then click each one, it will display the amount ram installed in each slot, or if empty will say not installed.
You did post Everest see's 383mb that's Good even tho your 384mb, On the PC i'm using it's 512 but everest see's 511, dont know why but it's normal.

Hum! Belarc flaky?? nice info utility anyway.

    Asus,

I wouldn't say Belarc is flakey. It's more likely my Memory is. When I open Everest, on the left, expand Computer, click DMI there are 4 choices:Bios,System,Motherboard,Chassis. No memory modules

My PC brand is Intel Pentium3E, Bios type AMI (04/08/00) .

Asus can i bug you again? I figured out how to get into BIOS but where would I look to see memory in BIOS? Under Setup>Chipset there is something called Memory Hole, which is disabled...would that be it?
