Hi all, Im setting up a practice server at home (for work) with Server 2003. I just ran dcpromo and installed dns but I used the wrong domain name. Is it possible to change it now?

Hey Tater
I've used to learn MCSE back in 2000. As much as i remember you cannot change the name. You will have to run it over again. I would try to consult microsoft about it, even if you don't have a legal copy, i think that they will answer you. Last edited by AbbySue; 09-17-05 at 09:11.. |

Windows 2003 allows you to rename the domain. Win2k did not.
