Default Yahoo related pages are loading very slowy but everything else is fine... any help?

Hi... I am having a problem viewing pages that have to do with yahoo. Yahoo.com itself loads up right away but any link I try to go to on the page just takes forever to load up. The same with my yahoo fantasy sports team pages that I have bookmarked. I don't understand why this is happening because all other webpages work just fine. Also my friend is not having any problems with yahoo so I don't think it is their problem. Anybody know why this could be happening?

do you have any firewalls or internet security programs active?

if so, try temporarily disabling them and see if the page loads faster.
