bearshare giving me problems

ok first i had winmx then i couldnt connect a friend told me about bearshare and i loved it but now i cannot get it to work i keep getting a fatal error message can any1 help me out i have uninstalled and reinstalled and keep getting the same message

Make sure you have downloaded BearShare from BearShare.com, as there several "bad" versions of BearShare out in the wild. then if still having problems go to this GnutellaForums - BearShare as they know a lot about BearShare (Remember to give them details about what version of Windows you are using, as you might have a wrong version of some DLL).

Also if you want your WinMX to work again, then get a patch from WinmxGroup.com and it should start working again.

Bearshare is full of spyware. You are better off not installing it.

As said before bearshare is full of garbage. Try using one of these alternative p2p programs http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=73247
