If you play games upgrade Video card. Check how much of your hard drive is used and upgrade that if needed. You probably dont need more than 512mb of ram but if you want 1gb is better.

and for video card hp says you have a agp slot i reccomend this if you want to play games but not at ultra high quality

and to get more storage and a little speed boost get an upgraded HDD

there are no cpu upgrades from sights that ship to canada outside of ebay if you do the upgrades i reccomended it would be $480 plus shipping but you wont need to upgrade anything anymore the best cpu you can get is a 3.06ghz/533mhz socket 478 and the best graphics card is a radeon x850xl AGP

You can add on a hard drive without losing your old stuff. You dont realy need tha ram and if you play games get a video card but you dont need the 450$ one if you are not very serious about games.

if you get a maxtor it includes a cd that wil transfer ALL files with your config i would buy everything i reccomended but i build my own i think your comp has 2x256 so buy a 512x2 kit and a radeon 9600/9800 and a 250gb or more hdd

As david said a 9800 is a nice upgrade also consider the 6600gt anything more powerful your cpu will not be able to get the most from it ;)

You only need another hard drive if you other one is running low on room. 75 gb is alot of room and dont get another if you still have 20+gb left on it. Ram is optional, but upgrade video card.

Ram is neccisary because your have JUST enough for most games have more is always better

Isnt 512 enough for now though. Its not aboslutely necessary. It depends on how much extra cash he has I guess.
