Hi. typical noobish questions will insue..

ive had my old hard drive lying in a box for a while with windows 95 and some animations and games on it.
i want to put it in my new computer, keep the animations and format the rest.
I set the jumpers to slave, plugged everything in right and switched the computer on.

first : it makes a clicking sound, is it f**ked.
second: it didnt automaticly come up in my computer, how do i configure it to be recognised without formatting it?

it would be great if your solutions come atall and greater if there in super newb language thank you geeks! i love you!

A bit more information on your system would help. Is it showing in Disk Management ?? control panel/administrative tools/computer management/disk management.
