I want to make a virtual LAN buti have no idea how. help will be appreciated.

I heard it possible to make a LAN connection over the internet that will actually function exactly like a LAN (not remote desktop or VPN).
i tried several times but nothing worked. if anyone hs any idea how do it please tell me.

Vlan would be a virtual lan on a network switch isolating traffic domains, the thing your looking for is vpn. I don't know how to setup a vpn server under windows so can't be of much help.

 

VPN is the security envelope, otherwise your LAN becomes part of the Internet and every one would share the content of your computer.

Once you established a secure connection, sharing depends on the application that you want to use.

VPN is remote desktop, isnt it? i want to play Conflict global storm over the net like im playing it over a lan... (no direct ip connection there)

 

No vpn would allow you have tunneled lan connection, giving you an internal lan ip address.
