CS Problems ever since I got router.

I used a switch but we were told by Comcast or whoever to get a router so we did that about a year ago. I just started to get back into CS and noticd that whenever i refresh servers it puts latency at like 1800, and a bunch of server names come up with ?????1.6????? and stuff. I know for a fact this never happened with my Switch. I opened ports and such but it still happens. Anyone know what could be the problem?
