Computer Keeps Turning Itself Off

Hi guys

Recently my PC keeps turning itself off. I can b on for 5 mins or 4 hours it dosent matter it just ramdomly turns itself off. As u can guess this is very annoying espesh during an intense frag fest. Any help or ideas why this happening would be greatly appreciated.

Several Reasons could be the factor...

1) Your Hard Drive/CPU/Video Card are Over Heating, and your computer is shutting off for SAFETY. Solution: More fans/Cooling of some sort

2) You are pushing too much hardware for the power supply you are using...I.e. you have a 300 watt PSU and you need a 350 or 400, depending on what hardware you are using. Solution: Get a bigger Power Supply

3) Something on the motherboard is shorting out, causing your computer to shut off. Solution: Check all connections and make sure nothing is touching the motherboard, that shouldnt be.

try this go to control panel,system,startup and recovery,settings and uncheck the box auto restart.

hopefully you will receive an error message and a dump file before the next restart

have you updated any drivers or added any new hardware before this started? could be wrong/conflicting drivers.
