General problem solving

Hello,
A) I am looking for a software that allows you to retrieve deleted emails, and other computer files. Does anyone have a good suggestion?

B) I am looking for a way to duplicate all my programmes, files, software etc, including Outlook emails and email settings, onto a small 40 gig portable hard drive. In this way, when some idiot steals my laptop, next time, I will have a fully backed up system to install in my new laptop. Hopefully at the click of one button marked "lazy".

I looked at backing up on an internet storage service, but it looks pretty dangerous nowadays with all the crooks stealing information and identities left and right. Any recommendations?

As far as recovery there are lots out there heres a free trial to try

B. Well a good option and one piece of software I wouldnt be without is Acronis True Image and as for a nifty small portable HD then this is pretty neat.... Segate Portable ( damm small ) plus look at the pocket ones, ok they have a max capacity of 5gb but they fit in a pocket
