Hdo Password Reset!!!
I Currently Bought A Gateway Laptop. But The Hdo User Password Is Unknown To Me. Is There Anyway Of Resetting The Password..
The Methods Ive Tried Already Are Pressing Insert When It Boots Up.. Doesn't Work... Taking Of The Internal Battery Didnt Work... I Am Lost So If Some One Could Give Me Some Directions I Would Be Greatly Appreciated... Thank You... Sincerely Joe....

Can a mod move this to the suitable area.
Also please don't type in caps! You would have to go into the bios and adjust it, not sure.

Hi there. I am having the same issue. Did you find a solution? PS I'll look for the appropriate area, and the HDO password is needed to disable/enable/change it in the BIOS.
