Anti VIR Free edition
i hate to post this here but i also have the exact same problem except with
Anti VIR Free edition. It just closes the anti vir guard and the microsoft security sheild says that is has closed for some reason. Is this also a resource hog? i got a old pc but this has not happened before. I used to run Avast and I always thought but was unsure if whether it was a resource hog. You are always better off to start your own thread.
 ie: You can't have the exact same problem as the user with Norton b/c Anti VIR is totally different software, your computer set up's are different (hardware, installed software, configuration) etc., etc..
