Default Is my CPU or PSU fried?

My computer turned off during typing in word after coming from WoW 10mins ago. I can not turn it on and when I opened it the red LED was on. I can not turn the computer on at all, and the PSU button is connected properly.

Anyone know what the problem is? I have had the computer for a while, and im only using a 20pin PSU connector when it has a 24pin on the mobo but that has not mattered yet.

I just read the mobo manual again and it said a 20 pin connector is ok, but it was a cheap *** PSU.

try replacing the PSU, you can return it if that is not that problem.
