103 inch plasma screen shown at CES this week

 

I hate plasmas. Great picture quality, but I'm always wary of new unproven technology. (there are suggestions they don't have a long shelf life)

 

I dunno. For twenty two hundred bucks, I'd want more than 30 inches of love. But then again, I am just greedy.

 

Maybe not greedy, but gay tendencies?

 

Tell you what..................just got my 24" bundle of love from Dell. I love it. It is sooooooooooooo nice not having to squint so much.

Games are unreal with this big screen. Awesome.

And..............only 1/2 as much as that 30"

 

I don't think so, nor does my wife. I was thinking monitors, honest (and no, not lizards). Sorry to disappoint you.

That's my understanding also, and they are yet to be proven.

Not to mention the outrageous prices, at least here in Aus.

 

51 feet???? wow!! That's some screen!

Question.....being this is about monitors...when I bought my TFT flat screen the guy told me they only last about 18 months before this type of screen deteriorates. Why?? I've had mine 4 years now and transported 6000 miles and it's still perfect. What was he meaning?

Yep, had my L.C.D. monitor about three years and I run it at 1280 X 1024 @ 180Hz refresh all the time. Not a problem with it in those three years.

@ D3...51 foot screen? - My...that's BIG one! Do you use a fork lift to get to the top of the screen?
